Why Golden Sky
A San Jose roofing company started by a husband and wife, backed by years of commercial exterior work.
Jose Dominguez has worked in construction since 2000, including about 12 years in the union trades on commercial exteriors: waterproofing, fireproofing and exterior wall systems. On those jobs he kept seeing that when water got into a building, the roof was a common reason.
Jose and his wife, Luz, started Golden Sky Roofing Inc in 2026 to give homeowners and building owners a roofer who explains what is wrong, gives them the scope and price up front, and keeps them informed from the first call to the final walkthrough. Phone call
A short consultation to understand what is going on and whether we are the right fit.

On-site estimate
Anthony Rivera, Sales and Estimating, walks the roof with you at the free estimate and talks through your options. A full written roof inspection is a separate paid service. Contact us for a free estimate to talk it through. We can give you a ballpark price in person at the visit.

Written proposal
Scope, materials, warranty, schedule and price in writing.

Schedule and start
Sign, pay the deposit and pick a start date. The deposit is $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is lower, and the remaining payments follow the work completed. Work typically starts within 1 to 2 days after the deposit, or when you are ready.

Install and final walkthrough
A typical roof replacement takes 3 to 5 days. We walk the finished roof with you and hand over your warranty paperwork. Full detail on the process page.
